I Want More/Chce wiecej
I Want More is based on true events on one of the largest cyber frauds in Polish history. Marcin, a seemingly confident young man who hides deep insecurity beneath his leader persona becomes torn between a carefree life of gaming with friends and the harsh realities of impending adulthood - an alcoholic father, a similarly troubled mother, and a younger sister scared to be at home. The tipping point comes when Marcin’s girlfriend Hania’s father needs expensive, life-saving treatment. Desperate and seeing no legal way out—Marcin devises a high-risk plan. He pulls his close friends into the ruthless world of cybercrime, using the infamous “impersonator method”. What starts as a targeted, one-off desperation move explodes far beyond their control. The scheme scales rapidly, generating enormous sums that dwarf their initial goal. Adrenaline, a false sense of power, and the intoxicating rush of easy money turn Marcin from a reluctant participant into someone addicted to the lifestyle. Greed overtakes necessity; loyalty frays; love is tested to breaking point. The once-tight group dynamic unravels amid paranoia, betrayal, and the looming threat of consequences.
